Job Summary:
As the Human Resources Generalist, you will provide point-of-contact HR support in employee relations, staffing, performance management employee development, and other initiatives.
Requirements:
- HR Generalist with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting a manufacturing operation preferred.
- Experience with Work Day preferred.
- Experience conducting complex investigations and taking corrective action when need be.
- Experience planning and coordinating employee engagement activities.
- Employee relations experience (corrective action, investigations, employee interviews, hot line calls, etc.)
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local employment laws
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business or a related field preferred
- PHR Certification preferred, but not required
SALARY:
$60-70K plus 5% bonus
Human Resources Manager - Waterloo, IO
Job Summary:
The HR Manager is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function. Areas of responsibility include talent management, compensation, benefits, wellness, employee engagement, safety and environmental.
Requirements:
- Four-year degree in Human Resources, or business-related field
- 5 or more years of related experience, with at least two-years of direct supervisory responsibilities
- PHR or SPHR / SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Creative problem resolution and conflict management skills
- Possess strong communication skills and demonstrate the willingness to collaborate with all levels within the organization while building the company’s reputation in the community

Job Summary:
The Sr. HR Generalist performs activities in functions such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, compliance reporting, and employee relations. Participates with recruiting programs, interviewing, screening, evaluating, and selecting qualified applicants. Participates with managers regarding job evaluation requests. Interprets human resources policies, counsels’ employees concerning work-related problems, and conducts termination interviews. Conducts and prepares material for employee orientations. Conducts research, analyzes data, and prepares recommendations on assigned projects. Provides assistance to line management regarding employee relations practices. May provide technical guidance to lower-level staff.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 5 years related human resources experience.
- Union experience and/or Labor Relations background.
- Industrial manufacturing background.
- Knowledge of HR techniques, applications, and programs.
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office.
- Must have strong written and verbal skills.
