What you will do in this role:

The Director Burn Services is responsible for integrating the Burn Services department with the hospitals primary functions. The Director also coordinates and integrates services within the burn department. The Director will develop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. The Director recommends a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care/service and assures the qualifications and competence of those staff members (who are not licensed independent practitioners) meet the needs of patient care and non-patient care services. Other duties include ensuring orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in burn services is provided. The Director continuously assesses and improves their department’s performance and maintains appropriate quality control programs.

What qualifications you will need:

  • ADN required. BSN required within 24 months of hire
  • Must hold a current GA RN license or eNLC license required, BLS required (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
  • 2-3 years Burn experience and 3-5 years management experience required

What you will do in this role:

The Director of Emergency Services Department assures service, growth, development, personnel management, and resource allocation and management controls in order to ensure consistent high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.

What qualifications you will need:

  • BSN; Master’s preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of RECENT director experience in emergency services required

    What you will do in this role:

    • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required

        What you will do in this role:

        • You will document pertinent nursing notes to reflect: change in condition, transfer and discharge
        • You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders
        • You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed)
        • You will be responsible for efficient throughput to include understanding and knowledge of all care zones such as triage, rapid treatment area, care path, pediatric ER, trauma, behavioral health, etc.

          What you will do in this role:

          The Director Infection Prevention is responsible for the effective development, implementation, evaluation and surveillance of organizational infection control initiatives, standards and compliance. This position is also responsible for the direction of the operation of the infection prevention and control/epidemiology department, including education of Team Members and consultation with the organization, CDC, and the county and state health departments. The responsibilities encompass compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, CMS, OSHA, and state regulations, outbreak investigation, and overall direction of the infection prevention and control program. Complies with the company compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non- compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms.

            What you will do in this role:

            • You will assume responsibility for the routine care and maintenance of radiological equipment, in addition, assumes responsibility for quality patient care, maintenance of required catherization lab competencies and assistance in all aspects of invasive, or non-invasive cardiac procedures.
            • Your role will be able to explain all procedures to patients to help alleviate anxiety.
            • You will have the ability to work within a team environment with individuals having similar abilities and responsibilities, as well as you must be willing to assume “on call” assignments and return to facility within 30 minutes for emergency cases.
            • Your role will have the ability to handle emergency situations during high-risk procedures and you must be willing to provide discretion and confidentiality in word and action.
            • You will interact with physicians during routine procedures, during emergencies and to assist with interpretation of and recording of data collected.
